At Marching Network, we feel the most important aspect of marching band is the dedication to the students education quality. Marching band has the ability to develop many life skills through motivation, discipline, teamwork, time-management and a strong sense of community. Marching Networks packaged and custom shows are designed with those ideas in mind.
We strive to provide ease and accessibility when putting together a successful and entertaining marching band show. We will work with all size bands, all size budgets and will provide professional answers to meet your ensembles skill level and needs . We will provide a show that you can trust and can help lead to your students development in every area.
Jarrod Huntley
Founder / Drill Designer
Founder of Marching Network, Jarrod Huntley, is backed by 16 years of experience designing and teaching marching band shows across the country.
Jarrod marched 4 years with the 10-time DCI champion Cadets Of Bergen County and in 2002 began working on the visual staff of The Crossmen and YEA! organization! In 2004 Jarrod moved on to the visual staff of the 14-time DCI champion Blue Devils where he taught through the 2010 season. In 2011 Jarrod took over as the visual caption head for the Cadets Drum corps. "I'm proud to have helped lead the corps to a visual title and the corps 10th DCI victory; the first victory in over 5 years."
Jarrod now resides in Pflugerville Tx and works with many nationally known high school bands including: McQueen High School from Nevada(5-time consecutive state champions); Etiwanda High School from CA (BOA Regional champion and National finalist); Flower Mound High School TX (2011 BOA Super Regional Finalist) Pflugerville High School(BOA Regional Finalist).
Andy Smart
Music / Arranger
Andy Smart grew up in the Denver area participating in competitive high school marching bands and the Blue Knights drum and bugle corps constantly until he finished four years of music performance study on trumpet at the University of Colorado in Boulder. After his drum corps age-out year, Andy went directly on to perform with Blast! in London, Broadway, and across the U.S. on the national tour as a featured trumpet soloist.
Andy’s participation in the marching arts over time earned him the position as brass caption head at the Blue Knights very soon thereafter. He has also been arranging music for competitive marching bands and drum corps all over the U.S. and Japan for nearly ten years now. Andy feels very fortunate to be involved with the Marching Network and is excited to expand his musical creative outlet to be available to more great bands!
Kevin Ronan
Music / Arranger
Kevin Ronan is an alumnus of Arizona State University where he earned his degree in Music Education. While attending ASU, he was a student of world-renowned tuba player and brass pedagog, Sam Pilafian. His close work with Mr. Pilafian has given Kevin an intimate knowledge of The Breathing Gym, as well as brass pedagogy and arranging.
Recently, Kevin has held instructional positions with many schools and performing ensembles throughout the country, including: Gilbert High School (Gilbert, AZ), Richland High School (Richland Hills, TX), Ayala High School (Chino Hills, CA), The Arizona State University Sun Devil Athletic Bands (Tempe, AZ), The Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps (Camden County, NJ), The Colts Drum and Bugle Corps (Dubuqe, IA), and The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps (Concord, CA).
Kevin was a member of the Blue Devils brass section from 2004-2006 and The Academy Brass and Percussion Ensemble brass section from 2001-2003. He is currently on brass staff with The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps from Concord, California.
Jesse Minor
Drill Designer
Jesse Minor has always had a life full of music and has been involved with the marching activity for over 10 years. He has performed with Impulse and The Santa Clara Vanguard drum and bugle corps and has been performing at Disneyland since 2009 in, “A Christmas Fantasy Parade.” Since performing at the drum corps level, Jesse has gone on to teach many reputable groups including The Academy (Tempe, AZ) and The Bluecoats (Canton, OH). He has also been a member of the visual staff for the 13-time world champion Blue Devils (Concord, CA) since 2009. Additionally, Jesse works with many high school programs such as Fountain Valley HS (Fountain Valley, CA) and Cerritos HS (Cerritos, CA) serving as a visual coordinator and program consultant. Jesse also serves as the visual designer and coordinator for Great Oak HS (Temecula, CA). Apart from the marching activity, Jesse has received a bachelorʼs degree in Music Education from California State University, Long Beach (Long Beach, CA). He is currently working on earning his teaching credential with the goal of teaching music at the high school level. Jesse currently resides in Southern California where he spends time with his family and continues to enjoy the beauty and power of music in his life.
Angela Bokosky
Colorguard
Angela Bokosky joins Marching Network with over 10 years experience teaching and designing competitive colorguard shows. Angela has taught and marched numerous groups in the California area. After graduating from Mater Dei High School in 2001, Angela marched with Fantasia winterguard, Yamato Drum and Bugle Corps, San Jose Raiders winterguard, Diamante winterguard and aged out of The Blue Devils A Corps in 2004 after marching two summers with the 14-time DCI champions. Angela is now the colorguard director in Austin, TX at Pflugerville HS and Hendrickson HS. Angela graduated from Cal State Fullerton in May 2010 with a bachelors of arts degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Radio/TV/Film.
Casey Brohard
Percussion / Arranger
Casey began performing in Drum corps in 2000 with vanguard cadets. The year after he joined the Blue Knights. The next five years was spent with the Concord Blue Devils and was section leader 2005-2006. During the winter seasons Casey put his focus towards WGI. He marched 2003-2005 with Riverside Community College and also 2006-2007 with the Sacramento Freelancers as an instructor/member. During his years marching, Casey helped attain a Div II drum title, both Div I and Div II World Championships and WGI Gold Metal. In 2005 Casey was awarded the I&E snare drum solo Champion. Casey has previously worked with Blue Devils B and Ayala H.S. He currently works with Amador Valley H.S. as their primary drum instructor and arranger, James Logan H.S., The Sacramento Freelancers and is the assistant caption head for the Madison Scouts. Brohard is one of the original performers for BD Entertainment and has performed all over Europe, Japan and Korea. He also performed under Ariel Experience and E2K being involved with the 2002 winter Olympics ceremonies. Casey is still active as a performer as well as a clinician, instructor and arranger. He is proud to be endorsed by Dynasty drums, Evans drumheads and Vic Firth sticks.
